In 2005 the Brickbottom Artists Association (BAA) received the Massachusetts Cultural Council Gold Star Award in recognition of its innovative gallery shows and community outreach programs.

The Art+Schools Project is one such program. During the school year,BAA member artists visit local high school students to talk about their art, creative process and careers. In turn, these students enrich Open Studios as they provide visitors with tours, background and commentary on the artists and their art.

Art makes a difference in a young person's life and education. Help to insure this program continues by volunteering or making a tax deductible contribution to support this program.
